Double Flowmeter

A double flowmeter is used when the existing medical gas outlets in a ward are not
sufficient for the number of patients requiring oxygen therapy. It allows two independent
oxygen flowmeters to be connected to a single medical gas outlet, enabling safe oxygen
delivery to two patients from the same source.

Most double flowmeters offer standard medical oxygen flow ranges, typically 0–15 LPM on
each side. Silbermann also offers a low-flow model of 0-7 LPM.

Silbermann’s double flowmeter connects to a wall-mounted medical gas outlet (oxygen or
air). It offers two connection options: directly onto the wall outlet or rail-mounted. In the
rail-mounted configuration, the unit includes a 1-meter plastic tube with a probe for easy
connection to the gas outlet
